Pine-Richland School District will host homecoming weekend Sept. 20-21. The community is invited to the high school campus at 6 p.m. Sept. 20 for a processional made up of the marching band, auxiliaries, AFJROTC and more. The entrance to Pine-Richland High School will be closed from about 6 to 6:15 p.m.

This year, students will be collecting canned food goods. A table will be set up at the stadium for visitors to donate goods. The Rams will kick off against the Norwin Knights at 7 p.m.

Prior to the game and and throughout the first half, booths with concessions and spirit wear will be open to the community. At halftime, a queen will be crowned. Join us as “Pine-Richland Dances through the Decades: Homecoming 2019.”

On Sept. 21, Pine-Richland High Schoolwill host the homecoming dance.

Trunk Sale

North Hills Christian Church is hosting a trunk sale in the parking lot from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 21.

Residents from the surrounding neighborhoods will fill the parking lot to create a series of “mini-yard sales” filled with items.

There will be food trucks and a bounce house for the kids.

Golf outing

The Eighth Annual Edward D. Kohler Memorial Fund Golf Outing will be held Sept. 21, at Pittsburgh North Golf Club. All proceeds from this outing support the Southwestern PA Veterans Home, where Dave worked as a nurse until he died in 2006.
