An afternoon of tea, treats, and activities for young ladies age 5 and older, accompanied by their favorite doll — Sunday, Jan. 26, 2-3 p.m.
Hear ye, Hear ye, young ladies! You are cordially invited to attend A Doll Tea, to be held at the Depreciation Lands Museum!
Did you know that girls just like you have lived, learned and played right here in Western Pennsylvania ever since America was born? You and your doll companion can learn all about a Pennsylvania girl’s life in the early days of settlement at our delightful doll tea.
Enjoy an afternoon of tea and treats, followed by activities and 18th-century style dancing, accompanied by live traditional fiddle music. While dolls of all shapes and sizes are most welcome, the afternoon will be geared toward dolls about 18 inches tall.
Admission per child: $15, $12 for members. Space is limited, so register soon. Register and pay on-line here.
For more information, e-mail or call (412) 486-0563 and leave a message.
This event is geared to children, without adult assistance, however one adult per family is invited to stay, at no charge, and observe the festivities, or children may be dropped off and picked up an hour later.
