Students engaged in RAMS Way initiative

Pine-Richland High School students and staff have been engaged in an intentional and preventative approach to promoting a positive school climate. The initiative is entitled RAMS Way and it spells a common set of behavioral expectations, which is being shared across the district and includes: Respectful, Accountable, Motivated & Safe. Students are learning what these expectations mean whether it comes to attendance, riding the school bus, walking in the hallways and more.

Staff and administrators highlighted the initiative on Nov. 14, 2019. The RAMS Way Team rewarded 25 students who have had perfect attendance during the first quarter of school with two tickets each to the Pittsburgh Penguins home game on November 22, 2019.

“Six students with perfect attendance were randomly chosen from each grade with the final student chosen from all four grades,” said Teacher Beth Sipe.

Teacher Jeff Seybert made a special announcement and had the winners report to the lobby of the high school for their tickets.Students who were selected include:
