Pine-Richland High School Football players visited all three elementary schools on Friday, October 4, 2019. They spent the afternoon reading to students, passing out t-shirts and autographs.

Coach Eric Kasperowicz has been organizing the sessions at Hance, Richland, and Wexford elementary schools for the past several years.

In all, 14 players participated this year. Some of the players were even able to visit the school that they attended as an elementary student. Students visiting Richland included players Seth Bolin, Chance Boyd, Connor Manley, and Levi Wentz. Players Will Baker, Aiden Dresmich, Dayne Goltz, Connor Kirby, and Ethan O’Neil visited Wexford Elementary School. Finally, players Luke Meckler, Nevan Novitski, Chris Romano, and Josh Rechenberg visited Hance Elementary.

Some of the players chose favorites stories including “Family Huddle.”

The coach and players see the program as a win-win because the players get to visit the young students, who look up to them.
