Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus was the site of Sustainability Summit for Youth: Global Solutions to Combat Climate Change, on April 30. High school students from across the region were introduced to and encouraged to discuss ways to battle climate change.

This free event included a panel presentation from environmental experts. Students also participated in a World Climate Simulation, an exercise that places students in positions as global delegates working to prevent climate change. The simulation is produced by Climate Interactive and MIT Sloan School of Management, and is a role-playing exercise of the UN climate negotiations.

Students were also treated to a tour of the Eden Hall Campus and its examples of sustainability.

The campus is at 6035 Ridge Road, Gibsonia.
