Pine-Richland proved to have too much fire power for North Allegheny (9-2) as the Rams rolled to a 49-14 victory in the WPIAL Class 6A semifinal game, which was held at Pine-Richland. With the win, the Rams (10-1) have set themselves up for a rematch with Central Catholic in the WPIAL Championship game.
Pine-Richland is looking to win a third-consecutive WPIAL title. But to do it, they need to avenge their only loss of the season, which was a 29-7 defeat against Central Catholic (10-1), which happened back in September. The game is scheduled for Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. at Heinz Field.
North Allegheny’s only two losses this year came at the hands of the Rams.
