Northern Tier Public Library plans upcoming events

Northern Tier Public Library has a variety of upcoming activities and events. The library is at 4015 Dickey Road, Gibsonia.
• Kids (and adults!) of all ages are invited to create and enjoy crafts on Monday afternoons, beginning at 2 p.m. This is a drop-in program and will last until supplies run out.
• On April 16, from 6 to 9 p.m., enjoy Cooking With Chef Carol Nardello.
This class is a springtime celebration. The menu will include asparagus, scallion and chevre tart; roasted Roma tomato tart; black olive garlic bread; springtime very-berry salad; and rhubarb upside-down cake.
Classes are $40 each and advance registration is required. Class size is limited to 20 people.
• From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 2, learn how to prevent aches and pains while reading. Dr. Jordan Rozich from Richland Chiropractic Center discusses and demonstrates the importance of proper reading ergonomics. This program will include ergonomic and postural tips to prevent aches and pains as well as different ways you can minimize discomfort if it does occur. Registration is required.
