An upcoming fundraiser will help injured animals get moving again.

Joey’s P.A.W. Spring Fling will be held May 2 at 7 p.m. at Domenico’s Ristorante in Cranberry.

Guests can enjoy a pizza, wings and salad buffet, and enter basket raffles.

All proceeds from the event will go toward Joey’s P.A.W. (Prosthetics and Wheels), a program dedicated to helping animals in need by providing mobility assistance devices.

Boone, a rescued pooch who was severely abused as a puppy and now needs wheels to move around, will be there to greet guests. Armed with oodles of personality, Boone, 2, acts as ambassador for Joey’s P.A.W.

Tickets are $35 per person and include food, non-alcoholic drinks as well as one wine or beer ticket.

The inspiration behind Joey’s P.A.W. is a dog named Joey who was adopted in 2016 after being abused and having his rear legs intentionally cut off by his owner. After Charlie and Tanya Diable adopted Joey, they discovered a real need for assistance for dogs with disabilities, and Joey’s P.A.W. was formed.

Domenico’s is located at 20550 Route 19, Cranberry.
