Enrollment dates for Pine-Richland kindergarten scheduled

Pine-Richland School District is scheduling enrollment for kindergarten students at the Administrative Offices, 702 Warrendale Road, Gibsonia. Children must be age 5 before Sept. 1 to enroll.
Enrollment dates for Pine-Richland kindergarten have been scheduled.
Enrollment will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. Hance Elementary will be March 9; Richland Elementary, March 10; and Wexford Elementary, March 12 and 13.
Prior to registration, review instructions and print the parent questionnaire by visiting pinerichland.org.kdg.
At the time of registration, bring a completed enrollment packet, completed residency, verification packet, completed health forms, kindergarten parent questionnaire, three proofs of residency, child’s birth certificate, immunization records, proof of child’s blood lead level testings and child’s specialized education plan if applicable.

Discounted ski passes available
Richland Township once again has discounted passes for Seven Springs and Hidden Valley, thanks to a partnership with the Pennsylvania Recreation & Park Society.
Stop at the Richland Municipal Building at 4019 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, during business hours to purchase.
Passes are available for cash only. There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase.
Seven Springs all-day tickets cost $58 (regularly $69) for Monday to Thursday, and Sunday to Thursday twilight tickets are $46 (regularly $63 to $83).
For Hidden Valley, all-day tickets for Monday to Thursday are $43 (regularly $45 to 50) and Sunday to Thursday twilight tickets are $39 (regularly $44 to $48).
Bereavement group set to meet March 2
Beyond Mourning is a free eight-session support group with a focus on providing practical wisdom and emotional support to any adult grieving the death of a loved one. The group provides support to people no matter their beliefs, culture, worldview or religion.
The next Beyond Mourning group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 2 at Hiland Church, 845 Perry Highway.

Notable Women presentation set
AAUW North Hills Pittsburgh presents “Notable Women of the Keystone State” in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Women’s Right to Vote. Guest speaker Anne Madarasz is Director of the Curatorial Division and Chief Historian of the Heinz History Center.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place March 7 at La Roche University in the Ryan Room of the Zappala Student Center. Refreshments are available at 9:30 a.m. followed by the presentation at 10. RSVP to AAUWNorthHills Pgh@gmail.com by March 1.
